Cassandra Saulter

Last week, we drove down to Cold Spring, NY to interview this month’s featured artist, Cassandra Saulter. Having decades of experience in the TV/film industry, Cassandra employs an arsenal of skills, from makeup to costume to scenic design, to craft her collection Flipping Fur: pieces of vintage fur that have been turned inside out to showcase the skin and reworked into various silhouettes with a mix of materials. Currently, we have a sample selection of Cassandra’s pieces at SOMA and will be taking appointments for bespoke consultations with Cassandra during our October 26th Flipping Fur pop-up from 2-6pm!
